SUNDAY SUNDAE + NEWS

Yowser, what a week! I was styling all day on Wednesday on a shoot for a mammoth project I’m working on over in the wedding world. I’ll be telling you LOTS more about it very soon. But it won’t be on this blog, it will be on (drum roll please…) THIS one!

Introducing

That’s right, you can’t keep a good girl down! I’ve grown too fond of the beautiful dresses, magical moments, sparkling jewels and perfect paper confections to just let them all go after two short years. Things will be a little different this time around, but I can promise you that you’re going to LOVE what I’ve got up my sleeve. If you’re a wedding industry supplier and you’re interested in finding out more, you can get in touch via email, otherwise, keep a weather eye on the horizon, there’s something special on the way!

In the meantime, here are a few fabulous finds to brighten up your Friday…{roll over and click to find out more!}

Hope you’ve had a good one folks!

SUNDAY SUNDAE

Sunday Sundae - Outfitted 3rd march

01 // 02 // 03 // 04 // 05 // 06 // 07 // 08

A LITTLE LINK LOVE

Ever thought of running away and joining the circus?

The ultimate in ‘wakeup makeup‘ – it gets my vote!

Who made the Pantone chip?

Looking forward to reading this book on my next  trip.

Toast – hitting the nail on the bed-linen-head every time

More monochrome love.

In love with Anthrpologie’s Neroli silk blouse.

A very eloquent piece which helps explain why I get cross about people who get cross on the internet. (The same applies to people who mindlessly copy and paste Facebook statuses about privacy settings, car park muggings and Instagram trying to sell pictures of your children. Educate and then retaliate. Don’t be mindless. Rant over.)

THINGS YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED

On the Red carpet at the 2013 Oscars
The new monochrome trend
Statement necklaces at non-statement prices
Perfectly polished pastels at your fingertips

{ sunday sundae } bags, beds & bedazzled shoes…

Hey kids, I hope you’ve all been having a dandy weekend?
I spent Saturday celebrating a very special lady’s special birthday, we had a very long and indulgent lunch at Claridges, the food was fantastic and we were looked after like Princess’s, including a trip to the kitchen for all 8 of us to meet the chef. We then worked off the lunch with an hour of bowling, 2 hours of karaoke and a couple of hours of dancing. I’m exhausted!! (but very happy!)
So my Sunday has been all about brunch, Sunday papers, TV catch ups and there’s a chicken roasting away in the oven. Bliss.
While I’m waiting for my roast potatoes to crisp up, here are the blogosphere finds I’ve been falling for this week…
{ these beautiful pieces by Mrs. Press }
{ this graphic Navajo sofa }
{ this beautiful room }
{ this ring from Odette }
{ these BEAUTIFUL flower headpieces }
{ this candid snapshot of my bedroom. Oh. Wait. that’s not my bedroom, I could have sworn it was }
{ this sailor coat }
{ the beautiful Lara Stone in delectable Givenchy
{ some A-mazing mirror ball shoes from Maison Martin Margiela }
{ this sheer slip from Cheap Monday }
{ Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton. Enough said }
{ tee hee hee. Funny finds from Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre }
{ my kinda bed, crisp whites and nautical stripes }
{ Celine, *le sigh* }
And that’s that!
Over & out.

{ sunday sundae } dresses, more dresses & finger lickin’ food…

Hi Kids,
Hope you’ve all been having a wonderful weekend? I picked my sis up from Gatwick airport on Friday night at 10pm and then delivered her to Heathrow at 5am the following morning to return her to her home in Tanzania. Needless to say, there was no sleeping in between, just lots of catching up over pots of tea, and hot cross buns. So bed at 6am on Saturday and I’m just about back on track!
I’ve also been working away on a project that I hope to share with you all very soon. You may not be expecting it, but I hope you’ll like it.
In the meantime, here’s the things I’ve been falling in love with in the blogosphere this week when I should have been getting on with my work…
{ these walls }
 { this picture & dress }
{ this spread, it’s my idea of heaven }
 { these shoes }
{ these lamps }
{ this dress }
{ this skin and those brows }
{ this A-mazing dress }
{ this recipe }
And that’s all folks!

{ sunday sundae } beds, benny & bangs…

The things I’m falling in low with right now…
This very second I am watching Benny & Joon and falling in love with it all over again. Joon’s wardrobe is just a little bit swoonworthy, and her fringe is giving me hair anxiety, should I cut my fringe back in? Not to mention some killer lines:
Sam: You don’t like raisins?
Joon: Not really.
Sam: Why?
Joon: They used to be fat and juicy and now they’re twisted. They had their lives stolen. Well, they taste sweet, but really they’re just humiliated grapes. I can’t say I am a big supporter of the raisin council.
 The box of See’s Candies my friend Rita brought me from San Francisco.
This room, especially the sofa(s) and chair

This outfit. And hair. And lipstick.
This hair. Damn the fringe anxiety.
This recipe. I haven’t tried it yet, but how can a Swedish Visiting Cake not be good?
This room.
These flowers
This outfit.
The idea of falling sleep in this bed.
And that’s about it, short & sweet this week!

{ sunday sundae } pooches, pendants & poolside glam…

Sunday already?? Wha’ Happened? Hope you’ve all been having a dandy weekend?
The sundae is a little short this week, too much time spent drinking cocktails, chasing boys and eating cheese. But now I’m in my jim-jams, teapot warming and biscuits standing by, waiting for some Red Carpet action. Until then, here are the things that have been floating my boat in the blogosphere this week…
And that’s about it. Must try harder!

{ sunday sundae } beads, bears & blooms…

Happy Sunday folks, hope you’ve all had a blissful weekend?
I had a quite one, a night in with a friend on Saturday, a little light shopping with the Tinker this afternoon, Sunday papers, a big pot of tea and a tray of brownies. Heaven.
Here’s a few of the things I’m loving in the blogosphere this week…

{ sunday sundae } pins, proposals & piggin’ out…

Hi folks, hope you’ve all had a swell weekend? I’ve been gallivanting around a very damp London town with my folks and my sister & brother in law, eating everything within reach and cooking up a storm!
There’s been spicy potato salads, nectarine galettes, a chinese feast, oysters & crab, pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw and home made french fries with truffle oil & parmesan, breakfast of homemade soda bread, warm from the oven with cold prosciutto ham and fried duck eggs and, this afternoon, barbecued leg of lamb with grilled aubergine and fresh green beans from the garden. Phew! No wonder we’re all rolling around at home this evening, clutching out stomachs and groaning with painful delight!
But enough of my food obsessed family, and back to more important things. Here’s the things I’ve been falling in love with in the blogosphere this week…
over & out.

{ sunday sundae } shhhhhhhh, I won’t tell anyone it’s monday if you don’t…

A day late, granted. But I was searching the starred items in google reader for something I was saving (I’ve yet to find a really good way of bookmarking finds beyond my google reader, let me in on the secret if you have…) and I was suddenly reminded of how many beautiful things I fell in love with in the blogosphere last week…
